The joys of remodeling
We had John (the floor guy) out on Tuesday to take measurements for an estimate to have all of the original wood floors in the house re-done and it's not pretty. There is glue on the floors upstairs that wasn't downstairs... He said we have to strip it all off YUCK!! We really thought we were done stripping wood in the house, but it looks like we have just begun. Joe has grounded me to the house and we have a nightly schedule set all the way up until next Friday of tasks we need to finish in order to take a break from all this. Anyone who wants to grab a scraper and come help on your hands & knees is more than welcome. We have 2 bedrooms and a hallway to get done and I'm NOT excited about it. Oh, the joys of remodeling...

which friday are you going to be done stripping, this one (before mem. day) or the next? I would be happy to come see you on saterday. just kidding! i will be out of town until mon but if you want or need help don't hesitate to call.
