Halloween on the Square (10/31/08)

I try to get up to the square every year to go Trick-or-treating with Mollie & her girls so here are the pictures from that - they were so cute this year!!

Downtown for Mollie's Birthday (10/25/08)

For Mollie's Birthday we went for an adventure vs. a traditional gift. So we hopped on the train and headed downtown! First stop... The Bean @ Millennium Park

Balsamo Family Gathering (10/18/08)

I had my first family party at our house on October 18th and it was so much fun! Here are just a few shots I managed to take from that day!

Haunted Houses (10/18/08)

After the Balsamo party at the house we got a call to go out to a Haunted house... so we did! I was totally exhausted but it was a good time... the haunted factor of the house SUCKED but we had fun together and actually were better at scaring eachother than they were, LOL! Aaah good times!

We got shoved into this little room for a few minutes and when they opened the door they shot a bunch of baby powder at us - I am so happy Johnny was turned around or this would all have been in his eyes! It was a really bad haunted house but this was funny!! Poor johnny!

Fireworks show (10-4-08)

For years now Erin & Ryan have invited us to their Uncle's firework show in Dundee. I haven't been able to make it for whatever reason but this year wasn't going to miss it. Ryan's Uncles own a firework company called Sky Painters and they really do paint a beautiful picture in the sky. The show was filled with more fireballs and fireworks than I've ever seen put on by a town before and was just mesmerizing!
