Fun in Da Nort Woods

Well our recent trip up north has been anything but uneventful... We had Thanksgiving and two birthday parties in the time span of 5 days. It was quite the adventure! We had sinking dogs (Scarlet's first experience with water more than 6 inches deep. Seh jumped in over head and Joey was 1.5 seconds away from jumping into save her when she finally came up for a breath), hooks flying (2 8 year olds and a 3 year old learning to fish for the first time. They were seriously catching them the second they threw the worm in the water. I got her hair stuck in the reel while trying to pull in for a re-cast, L smacked herself in the face with a fish while Scarlet was trying desperately to eat the fish and L was trying to keep the fish away from Scarlet. After L got a new worm on the hook she stepped backwards too far and fell right into the water. In her words "that's the second time I've gone in the water with my clothes on". She was a fantastic sport about the whole thing.)

It was an awesome vacation & such a fun birthday!!
